There is a lot being said at the moment about the numbers of mass distraction being thrown about by the copyright industries to sustain their case for SOPA.
Though this TED video is a bit short on details, it seems to me to be an interesting alternative view of why those industries serve neither us nor themselves particularly well when the perpetuate, never mind extend, copyright laws.
